About the Role
Job Overview:
As a Sales Business Application Specialist, you will be at the forefront of identifying, nurturing, and managing relationships with prospective clients. Your role will focus on promoting and selling our business technology solutions tailored to meet clients' needs. You will collaborate closely with the tech and product teams to understand the full scope of our offerings and communicate their value effectively to prospective clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Building: Proactively reach out to potential clients, understand their business needs, and introduce them to our technology solutions.
Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute strategic plans to reach potential customers and close deals in alignment with company objectives.
Solution Presentation: Present our business applications to clients, demonstrating how they can solve challenges, enhance efficiency, and contribute to their business goals.
Market Research: Continuously analyze market trends, competition, and customer feedback to improve the sales approach and solution offerings.
Collaborative Selling: Work closely with internal teams (tech, product, marketing) to ensure client needs are met and exceeded, providing feedback to refine product offerings.
Lead Generation and Management: Identify, qualify, and convert leads into sales through structured prospecting, networking, and follow-ups.
Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activity, and pipeline status using CRM tools.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience (3-5 years) in B2B sales, preferably in tech or software solutions.
Strong understanding of business technology applications and their impact on organizational efficiency.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex technology solutions in simple terms.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building long-term client relationships.
Highly motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales processes.
Ability to understand and analyze customer needs and match them with appropriate solutions.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously.
Bonus Skills:
Experience selling SaaS or cloud-based solutions.
Knowledge of specific business sectors such as finance, retail, or manufacturing.
Familiarity with business intelligence (BI) tools or software development lifecycle.
