About the Role
Job Overview:
As a Marketing Analyst, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing our startup’s marketing campaigns across various channels. You will analyze data, identify trends, and create marketing strategies that align with business goals. You’ll have the opportunity to work on both digital marketing efforts—such as social media, email marketing, and SEO—and traditional marketing actions like print media and event coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy Development: Develop and execute both digital and traditional marketing strategies to promote our brand and products.
Digital Marketing Campaigns: Create, manage, and optimize campaigns across channels including social media, email, SEO, PPC, and content marketing.
Traditional Marketing Initiatives: Support and execute offline marketing activities such as print advertising, trade shows, and direct mail campaigns.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze marketing campaign performance, track KPIs, and prepare reports to measure success and optimize future campaigns.
Market Research: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies to inform our marketing efforts.
Content Creation: Collaborate with the content team to produce engaging and relevant marketing materials such as blog posts, newsletters, landing pages, and infographics.
Brand Building: Help establish and maintain consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels.
Customer Segmentation: Analyze customer data and behavior to segment audiences and tailor campaigns for specific demographics and personas.
Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and design teams to ensure alignment of marketing activities with business goals and product launches.
Budget Management: Assist in managing the marketing budget, ensuring that resources are used effectively across campaigns.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in a marketing role, with hands-on experience in digital and traditional marketing strategies.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret marketing data and translate it into actionable insights.
Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media platforms, email marketing tools, and CRM systems.
Familiarity with SEO best practices and content marketing strategies.
Knowledge of traditional marketing channels such as print, event marketing, and direct mail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to create compelling content and messaging.
Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Bonus Skills:
Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) or video editing.
Knowledge of marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo).
Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.
Familiarity with public relations and media outreach.
